DataMarine Ltd is a new software/hardware development company in the business of designing, engineering, and manufacturing highly advanced, compact solid-state electronic equipment and software for use in the marine electronics industry. DataMarine was established in 2006 by Dimitrios Houssakos and John Salichos. Dimitrios is an electronic engineer and has an over 30 years of experience in the fields of electronics, maritime electronics and radio communications. He is the main share holder of another successful company in the area of Maritime Electronics Services: International Electronics. John’s educational background is business administration but he worked for over 17 years in the fields of IT, software designing and development, databases and telecommunications.
