Hartman Yachts, part of the Dutch Hartman Marine Group, has unveiled two new ranges of yachts from 24 to 42 metres
The first of
the two new ranges from Hartman Yachts is the Amundsen expedition yacht (above and below), available in a number of LOAs up to 42 metres. Fittingly – given that the range is named after the Norwegian polar explorer Roald Amundse, the first person to reach both the North and South Poles – the yachts will have the capability to sail anywhere in the world, and will be equipped with a Polar Class hull as standard.
“Their timeless yet fresh style – inspired by warships of the past – brings together practicality and comfort, making them equally at home in the frozen Arctic and the balmy Pacific,” the yard says.
The Livingstone range (shown above and below), the yard says, “seamlessly combines the distinguished appearance of a luxury yacht from the first half of the 20th Century with the hi-tech finishing and ultra-modern technology of a true 21st-Century pleasure craft”. The yacht will be available from 24 metres, and the yard says that the first example has already been delivered. The name of the series is an homage to the Scottish missionary and explorer Dr David Livingstone.
