Editor's Note: A Snapshot of September

Editor's Note: A Snapshot of September

The upcoming months are set to act as a launch platform for countless industry movements; from the literal shift in location for thousands of yachting professionals to the metaphorical announcements already defining the third quarter of 2016.

We look to September in particular, where the doors are set to open on the upcoming MYBA Pop-Up Superyacht Show in Porto Montenegro. At the start of this week, however, I spoke to a number of members within the brokerage community to build a bigger picture of the second annual exhibition.

With very little local knowledge myself, I was given an overwhelmingly positive look into the upcoming show from the perspective of the brokerage community. Not only was I given an insight into the show and impressive potential behind it, but an illustrated look at the beauty of the region.

Looking further into the upcoming month, the preliminary list accounting for the predominant percentage of superyachts attending the Monaco Yacht Show came to light this week. We compiled a list of the exciting yachts we consider ‘must-see’ superyachts, which is recommended reading as this year is shaping up to be an exciting chapter in the 26 year history of the show. So much so, I’ll be offering further looks into the superyacht display over the next few days.

One of the exciting new launches on our must-see list was the WIDER 150 Genesi. Speaking to her interior designers this week, we discovered the thought process which merged universal style with technological revolutions.

These are our exclusive features this week, but in no way do they outnumber the reports of new designs, launches and brokerage news that arrived over the last seven days. If you've missed anything, you can find out more here.
