Designed by Horacio Bozzo, JFA Yachts’ 38-metre Arcana explorer yacht concept has been created for long-range exploration. The renderings show a submarine housed on the aft deck, while diesel-electric propulsion and twin Schottel Combi Drives will ensure the yacht can run in environmentally sensitive areas.

Two layout options are available for the main-deck. The preferred option is for an owner’s suite forward, with the alternative of two mirror VIPs. With four suites on the lower deck the yacht either has a guest capacity of ten or 12, serviced by seven crew. JFA Yachts project a top speed of 13 knots at half load, with a range of 4,000 nautical miles at ten knots.

JFA Yachts says that a scale model of the yacht is being prepared for the Monaco and Fort Lauderdale shows.
