RMK Marine unveils 55-metre XXL project

Building has already started on RMK Marine's 55-metre XXL explorer project, designed by Hot Lab.

XXL

The key elements of the 55-metre XXL explorer project are a sense of space and a connection with one’s environment, with wide decks, plenty of exterior space for living and dining areas, and full-height windows throughout. The XXL incorporates more than 700 square metres of guest spaces, including over 300 square metres of exterior spaces.

The planned layout has an owner’s cabin on the upper deck forward, with two VIP cabins forward on the main deck, and two VIPs and a twin with pullman bed on the lower deck. She can sleep up to 12 guests, with a crew of up to 16, and has a projected range of 6,000nm at a cruising speed of 12 knots. With the build at the early stages, there remains a good deal of flexibility in the general arrangement.

“The XXL is an exceptional superyacht with design that emphasises all the great attributes of a contemporary explorer yacht. The robust lines are complemented by an efficient and highly seaworthy hull design, as well as vast interior and exterior spaces. This combination results in an extremely elegant explorer superyacht able to take the owners wherever they dream to cruise,” says Ozgur Numan, RMK Marine’s yacht division director.
