AGIOI ANARGYROI beach in SPETSES

Located on the south-western coast of Spetses, 10 kilometres from Dapia, Agioi Anargiroi is one of the largest and most popular and developed beaches of the island. It is lying in a nice cove and has sand and pebbles with deep waters, ideal for water sports. A few fine taverns can be found in the area. The beach of Agioi Anargiroi can be reached by local bus or taxi-boat.

To the right of the bay, as you face the water, there is a sea cave named Bekiri’s cave. You may reach it either by swimming or on foot. It is a famous historical place: the partisans and Greek revolutionary leaders were using this cave as a hiding place during the War of Independence (1821).
