ACHEROUNES beach in SKYROS ^Featured

A beautiful beach with soft golden sand and clean crystal blue waters and many trees. The sea is usually calm since the beach is well-protected by the winds. It lies towards the west coast of Skyros, 10 km south from Chora, the capital town. There are good road and transportation facilities here and the location is an excellent tourist resort. It has many nice cafeterias and snack bars.

The panoramic view of a spread of mountains in the nearby horizon against the backdrop of the beach and sea expanse poses an exciting scene. Therefore it attracts many visitors.

The charming coastal resort of Acherounes ( Aherounes ) is located on the west coast of Skyros, and is just 10km south from the capital town of Chora. Acherounes is a very popular tourist resort that stretches along the coast and has a wonderful beach. The beach of Acherounes is one of the most popular on the island, and visitors from all Skyros come here during the summer months to enjoy the crystal blue waters and the soft golden sands.
