There is a beach near Skopelos Town (Hora), which is also the main port of the island. It is found just to the right of the docks and is actually a piece of sand that some people seem to use. It is not very attractive and has a lot of traffic close to it. Given the fact that Skopelos island has numerous marvelous beaches, we would not recommend it.
However Skopelos town is very beautiful, traditional and picturesque with many facilities and choices for eating and drinking. You may also moor your boat in the nice harbor and enjoy it.
