AGIOS DIMITRIOS GORGE (SHINODAVLIA) beach in SOUTH EVIA
Agios Dimitrios is a beautiful isolated beach in South Evia with nice emerald-green waters. The landscape is very wild and this beach actually is the end of the Agios Dimitrios gorge. In the gorge there is rich vegetation. The beach is located at the eastern coast of South Evia (Aegean Sea). This coast ends at the famous cape Cavo D' Oro. Cavo D' Oro is known to everyone as the cape where the sea is very wild when north winds prevail.
The beach is bordered by stalactites, the product of centuries, still dripping cool spring waters. The colours are captivating. Anyone glancing up can admire the wild beauty of the gorge, and, with any luck, observe the flight of some birds of prey.
The beach is is also called "Shinodavlia" and is quite difficult to reach it. In order to get thete you have to pass through a a vey narrow and dangerous road.
