KAPRALOS CHRISTOS Museum in AEGINA (EGINA)
Christos Kapralos' Museum is located apx 3km of Aegina's Town (north-west side), by the inshore road. The museum has 6 laboratories and a yard where some the artist's sculptures are exhibited..
Christos Kapralos is an internationally recognised sculptor. He studied painting in the Topmost School of Fine Arts and sculpture in Paris. He came to Aegina in 1963. He legated to Greece a collection of approximately 7.500 art works, by founding the “Institution of Chr. & S. Kapralos”.
The museum houses the works of this great creator from 1963 till 1993, when he passed away. Just before entering the museum, visitors can admire the statue of the “Mother”, who is fighting hard for her family. The materials that Christos Kapralos used are: Wood, Aegenetian argol, plaster, copper and marble.
There are also exhibited works of painting, terra-cottas and ceramics.

November – May: Friday – Saturday – Sunday 10:00 – 14:00
