The 53-metre Attitude 175 all-aluminium concept is a new spin on the classic downeast-style US lobster boat
The Rossinavi Attitude, which was unveiled at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show last week, is the first yacht designed by the A++ studio based in Lugano. The 53-metre’s aluminium construction and fast displacement hull delivers a punchy top speed of 20 knots, but what really catches the eye is the bold aluminium ‘spoiler’, which starts as the hardtop, and provides a sharp line down to the transom, and ends up under the water at the stern, allowing for the creation of a huge beach club area.
The yacht sleeps ten guests in five cabins, with the aft-facing master on the upper deck benefiting from wraparound windows. The dedicated deck outside is the place to take breakfast. On the sundeck, there is a substantial pool, while the lower deck has two twins and two doubles.
“Entering the boat is where a simple action becomes a true experience. Never before has a boat been capable of making the guest feel he is not really entering, but he is instead being immersed into an unusual yachting experience. Made of unobstructed views of the surroundings, and with a layout that is developing through spacious and functional areas, this creates a true feeling of space and comfort that is typical of a luxury villa,” says designer Carlo Colombo of A++.
