KATSADIA beach, bay and anchorage in LIPSI
Katsadia is a beautiful wide bay, very popular as an anchorage for yachts, because it is well protected from north winds that prevail in the summer.
The beach is narrow, shingle and not organised but there is a couple of tavernas providing some facilities.
There are some interesting coves to the south, particularly at Papandria.
If you want to get there and you don't have a private boat, you should take the road to Hohklahoura. Turn right at the crossroads, follow the headland (viewing Lipsi harbour below). You will have to take the left fork to Katsadia and the right fork for Papandria.
