Hydronetta is one of the most beautiful spots in the Mediterranean! it is a rocky swimming area with cemented sun decks and transparent blue waters. It is actually a "meeting point" because of the marvelous bar that "hangs" on the rocks, which plays relaxing chill-out music all day long and offers magnificent views of the blue sea, the Peloponese and the surrounding islands.

Most of the people just relax in the bar enjoying the unique atmosphere and dive ocasionally in the cool sea, because the rocky platform underneath is narrow and it is difficult to find a place there.

Hydronetta is conviniently located close to Hydra's harbour, next to Spilia and to the canons of the "Periptero" (Kiosk) area. The place is definitely one of Hydra's highlights and therefore it seen in many pictures all over the world. Just above the bar there is a nice restaurant with excellent atmosphere and views. 

Hydronetta offers clear transparent waters which are very refreshing. However the many sea-taxis and boats that pass by with high speed, create waves that are very annoying.

Hydronetta cannot be evaluated with a high score as as a beach, simply because it is not a beach. However it is definitely one of the most beautiful spots of the Mediterranean, due to its unique atmosphere, its views and its quality. Therefore it deserves our 4 stars just because of that.

Watching the sun sett from Hydronetta will definitely be a life time experience!
