MARIZA (MARESA) POULAKI - LIMENARIA beach & anchorage in AGISTRI

Mariza is actually a small rocky platform used for sunbathing and for jumping into the sea. It is found in a tiny picturesque cove with deep crystal clear waters. You have to be careful when swimming in the area beacause access to/from the sea is over rocks. The cove is not well protected and therefore it is safer to swim there only when the sea is calm and before 2-3 o clock in the evening, because later the sea gets more wavy. Avoid swimming in Mariza with southern winds.

Mariza is located in the southwestern coast of Agistri and is accessed through a verdant track, at apx 200m from Limenaria village. There are no facilities near by.

ANCHORING INFO: Mariza is not a well protected anchorage. It offers some protection from northern winds. Yachts usually anchor temporarily at the eastern part of the cove with mooring lines tied on the rocks.
