the construction of traditional wooden sailing vessels. It was also engaged in the dry-docking and repair of various types of vessels.In 1994 a new partner was introduced. This marked the beginning of a major modernisation drive, which has continued over the years and has included extensions into the sea, new quay-walls, the application of contemporary techniques, machinery, technology and management methods. In 1998 a neighbouring boatyard was absorbed into the Boatyard.
Today the Boatyard can take out 60-70 large yachts and vessels on its completely concrete platform (13), quickly and safely, using its ultra-modern BOAT HOIST (7,8,9,10) (Travel Lift) of 260 tons and a self-propelled Trailer of 120 tons.
