The superyacht was undergoing tests off the German coast last week.
Aerial
photos of Jupiter, the 123-metre Lürssen launched in October, show more of the yacht than we have yet seen, offering up an idea of how the yacht will be used. Her huge size means she can have ample exterior decks, but still reserve the majority of the guest areas for the interiors, which will make her an excellent home for both very hot and very cold climes.
Her interiors are by March & White, with exteriors by H2 Yacht Design. Jupiter is the first yacht for both companies. “The collaboration between all parties, including Winterbothams technical services and the Y.CO Management team, has worked extremely well,” Lürssen says. “Despite her size, her styling radiates a very sporty and aggressive look with balanced proportions, similar to the owner’s first yacht, and will stun the Hollywood crowd.”
The yard says it is “a contemporary interior throughout, defined by timeless styling, nautical details and highly innovative bespoke finishes”. No pictures have been released of the inside, but Lürssen says that “with a beam of 20 metres, her interior atrium opens up the centre of the yacht to pull natural light deep into the yacht”.
Jupiter is scheduled for delivery in the spring.
