The Cannes Yachting Festival heralds the start of the boat show season. Held every year across the View Port and Port Pierre Canto marinas, it showcases a mixture of new and brokerage yachts to suit every taste and budget.
Here is SuperYacht World's pick of five superyachts making their public debut.
1 Benetti Mediterraneo 116
Cannes marks the debut for this 35.5-metre yacht, which features exteriors by Pierluigi Ausonio/Benetti and interiors by Giorgio Maria Cassetta/Benetti. The yacht is characterised by light interior spaces and clever layouts.
2 Perini Navi Dahlak
A sistership to regatta superstar P2, Dahlak has just been launched and will make her public debut at the show. The 38.2-metre yacht also features naval architecture and sail plan optimisation from Philippe Briand Design.
3 Cantiere delle Marche Narvallo
The latest from the Italian shipyard, Narvallo is the latest in the Nauta Air range. The 33.4-metre yacht is built for long range cruising and exploration, with a range of 5,500 nautical miles at nine knots.
4 Gulf Craft Majesty 155
The largest yacht at the show is making its European debut in Cannes. The 47-metre superyacht is the flagship of the UAE-based yard, and features exteriors by Gulf Craft and Yankee Delta Studios.
5 Moonen Bijoux
Delivered only a month ago, Bijoux is the first yacht in the Caribbean series to launch for Dutch yard Moonen. The 29.9-metre yacht comes in just under 200 gross tonnes, and features exterior design from Rene van der Velden and naval architecture by Diana Yacht Design.
