The 33-metre that promises all the benefits of an SUV on the water
Unveiled at the Cannes Yachting Festival, the OceaNemo 33 project builds on the success of the 44. The yard hails the 33-metre as an SUV of the sea, capable of handling an eight-metre owner’s tender, a 4.5-metre crew tender and two PWCs.
Designed by Fulvio De Simoni, with technical design and construction by the French shipyard Ocea, the all-aluminium yacht boasts diesel-electric propulsion. Guest spaces on board include a stateroom and four guest cabins plus three crew cabins. The yard says it will have “a competitive price below €13 million”.
“The main objective of the OceaNemo series is to provide maximum access to all possible fun activities on board,” the yard says, with a 56-square-metre garage capable of storing a range of tenders and toys. The raised deck of 46 square metres can also stow a 19ft Sportfisherman AL Custom and a six-metre sailboat.
Fulvio De Simoni’s interior includes two VIP cabins and and two guest doubles, while the owner has a suite with a study area and private bathroom covering most of the upper deck. She has a projected top speed of 13 knots, with a cruising speed of around ten knots. An azimuth sterndrive is an option, with diesel-electric propulsion reducing fuel consumption by as much as 20% compared to yachts of similar size.
