The Cannes show is the traditional start of the boat show season. Now in its 40th year, we take a look at 5 yachts to not miss in the Vieux Port.
Willow, Benetti
This 42-metre Benetti was launched this year, and is part of the Italian yard’s successful 140′ Veloce series. With a modern interior designed by Andrea Longinotti, the exterior offers up charter favourites such as a Jacuzzi on the bow and a beach club with a full garage of toys in the stern.
Galego, Cantiere Delle Marche
Delivered at the end of June, Galego is the latest Darwin 102 from the Italian yard Cantiere delle Marche. Even though she comes in at only 244 GRT, the yacht boasts plenty of interior space, including 4 guest cabins and three crew cabins. Interior features include Hermes wallpaper, handcrafted leather accents and contemporary art pieces.
Majesty 100
Unveiled in February at the Dubai Boat Show, the Majesty 100 is making its European debut at the Cannes show this year. With a focus on redefining how one experiences life on the water, a key aspect of the 100 is the semi open sun deck, a departure for the yard and making the space enjoyable for using in all weathers.
Princess 35m
The sleek look of this Princess is not just for show, as she has a top speed of 27 knots. A master cabin on the main deck enjoys those large windows in the bulwarks and there are a further three guest cabins below decks.
Andiamo, Baglietto
Delivered in June, this Francesco Paszkowski-designed, 46-metre superyacht features amazing outdoor volumes, especially on the sun deck which includes a large custom made pool. Inside there are six cabins for guests, a specific custom request from the owner.
Azimut 35m
Making it’s worldwide premiere at the Cannes show is the new flagship of the Italian yard, the 35 Metri. Interior design is by Achille Salvagni, whilst exterior is by Stefano Righini. Uniquely, the yacht features the option to add an addition sundeck at almost 30 sqm onto a third level.
