Triple engines and lots of open deck space aboard this new concept from Tankoa
Tankoa has taken a more sporting approach for its sleek, all aluminium 58-metre Open concept, designed by Francesco Paszkowski Studio. Folding terraces open up the main deck, while there are some wonderful outside spaces, including a small flybridge – a consequence in part of the relatively low-profile superstructure. The foredeck raised area of the Tankoa 58M Open concept has a central piece that lifts to create a secluded, shaded guest area.
But the real story is in the engineroom. Triple 2,000kW MANs provide much of the urge but a central booster does the rest, driving through twin Kamewa waterjets. There’s no estimated top speed as yet, but it’s sure to be punchy. “The power of design meets the thrill of speed. From now on, luxury cruising doesn’t mean giving up the excitement of running fast and loose. With this cutting-edge megayacht you can have it all,” says Tankoa’s global sales and marketing agent Yacht-Ology.
